Introduction

Welcome to Trustpilot’s API documentation. You can use this documentation to learn about technical concepts, authentication and common errors for each Trustpilot API.

Trustpilot APIs enable you to trigger invitations, collect and display reviews and integrate Trustpilot with your existing toolchain. If you want to build a partner integration, refer to Integration Partners.

Prerequisites

You must have a Trustpilot Business account with access to the connect module to access Trustpilot API data. To sign up, go to Trustpilot Business.

Quick start

To start using Trustpilot APIs, complete the following steps:

  1. Learn about Business Units.
  2. Find your Business Unit ID.
  3. Choose an Authentication method.
  4. Refer to the Schema, data formats and cache.
  5. Refer to the Rate limiting best practices.
